This site is a repository of only the best parables, presented complete with hand-drawn illustrations. Handed down through oral tradition for millennia, fables give us insight into the human condition, and allow us to laugh at ourselves and others in times of trouble. They're critical for understanding our history as sentient beings.
For the most part, all stories included on the blog have been written by the long-dead masters, but a living, breathing contemporary author or two might be able to slip past my highly selective filters (read: email me for a feature). I admit, I'll also be rewording a few of the classics myself, but I think thee can handle it.
